Business growth is a goal achieved through a coordinated organization-wide effort.  An efficient tax function must be tuned in to management and the business units.

I will be developing relationships with key people to learn about the business models and structure and understand management’s goals and objectives.  As a member of the finance group, I will be seeking to learn about areas where finance management believes require specific attention.

 

I will hold periodic meetings with the finance management team to make sure I am aligned with management’s changing goals and objectives, understanding we live in a dynamic and fast pace moving environment.  These meetings are also intended to inform the finance management team of the items being worked on and the progress made, explaining issues in a way that finance management can explain these in a coherent manner to the organization’s leaders.
